well there was a floridatibs.com mini track meet this morning @ bradenton motorsports park (1/4). there were about 7 tibs total-... i was the only rd. i was able to get maybe about 10 or so runs in-.... most of them extremely slow due to horrible reaction times or spinning at the line. it's defiantely harder than i originally thought to watch the tree and the tach simultaneously.

keep in mind i don't street race and this was my first day at the track!

of all of my runs my best reaction time was .207 and my worst was 1.369!

4 of my runs i was able to make the 1/4 in 15 seconds.

here are the stats for my quickest 1/4 pass! it also impressed the a couple of the gk guys.

r/t- 1.369
60'- 2.370
330- 6.16
1/8- 10.131
mph- 70.24
1000- 13.122
1/4- 15.709
mph- 86.29

my mod list in my signature should be currrent w/ the exception of the 1.8 cam (it's in my p&p head on my workbench).

today was alot of fun-... and i definately plan on going again and getting better times all the waqy around!

Just for informational purposes, your RT has no bearing on your ET. The clock starts when you leave the line. RT only matters when bracket racing or running heads-up. I usually tell newbs not to worry about RT at all. Wait for the green, then launch. This helps practice your launching technique. Once you figure out how to launch without spinning, bogging or burning up your clutch, then worry about working on your RT.

yeah i found that out yesterday about the et/rt-... but thanks.

i was also told just to launch at the last yellow light because by the time one reacts the light is green.

i'm gonna have to keep going to the track to dial everything in. practice makes perfect!

Not bad for a first timer. You can defintely do better though given your mods. Back when I had I/H/E/P on my elantra I pulled out a 15.3 1/4. My car weighs more than yours so you should be able to do at least that wink1.gif

i know i had a CEL for a leak in my flex pipe-... wonder how much that would affect anything.
