What are the available models in PR? Afaik there were only three trim levels released: base NA, deluxe NA, deluxe turbo... these trim levels are called different things in different countries.

Australia:

base NA: LS

deluxe NA: GLS

deluxe turbo: GT turbo, then later just 'turbo'

US

base NA: base, no trim level

deluxe NA: LS

deluxe turbo: GT

PR

base NA: base, no trim level

deluxe NA: LS

deluxe turbo: LS turbo

I'm just guessing, please correct me if I'm wrong.

PR Scoupe's where USDM cars with Canadian trims.. LOL base, LS, Turbo LS. the GT's iirc only difference was the leather seat bolsters. oh, and we had those stupid door mounted seat belt buckles.. i think canadian cars had the regular seat belts.

nope, no GT model, just LS and Turbo LS. in 93 the turbo model became available and the only visual difference between the n/a and turbo LS was the black roof on the turbo model. in 95 they all had color coded roof.

also the very few difference between years was in 93 they had what i believe is a distributor and had adjustable valve lashes and in the middle of 94 model year they changed it to coil packs and hydraulic valve lashes.

also the MAF is IDENTICAL to the ones in early mid 90's Turbo Volvo's i believe 740 or 750.

let me know if you have more questions,I'm more than happy to help.

That is really interesting mang.

I'm going to guess that in 94 they converted to the X3 alpha with the coil packs and HLAs to cut down on on spare parts inventory/production costs.

I've actually been considering converting to X3 HLAs on my 92 turbo, I keep on stripping the lock nut on the mechanical lash adjusters

My mechanic has been trying to sell me a 1994 Turbo (very little rust, door bottoms are MINT without rust at the seams) but it smokes a bit - Runs pretty quick, it's got a new turbo and some head work.

I've got pics of it on FB somewhere - $700 he wanted for it!
