How common are s-coupe turbos where you are?

Sup guys

I've been eagerly searching for an s-coupe turbo (or GT, depending on your region) for upwards of two years now. I can't find any in australia. The only one around has been horribly, permanently riced and it is on the other side of the country. I recall hearing that only 70 were imported into australia (._,)

How common are they where you live? Are they considered fast/desirable, or just beaters? I'm interested.

In Puerto Rico there are a few, mostly ugly and poorly modified.

It has been a long time since I have seen a regular, much less a turbo. The last turbo I saw was when I lived in Colorado Springs.

I haven't seen one here in Canada in a VERY long time. At least 7 years or more??? Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen a Hyundai older than a 99 in a long time. Canadian winters KILL cars so unless it's stored in the winter (like my Accent), don't expect your car to last longer than 10 years.

never seen one on the road; only in junkyards...

there are a few NA ones around, but they are all pretty overpriced IMO. people are asking 2-4k for them, there are a couple of rusty/mouldy/broken/unregistered NA scoupes for $500-$1k.

at least rust isn't a problem over here. i'd love to own one, but i might have to get a half cut or something. it will be an uphill battle for sure.

i currently own one 1994 ls turbo . i spent 3 years looking for one. finally found one in Maryland for cheap (the guy didnt know what it was) haha! bought it was already competely modified...I think at this point i have the only one on the east coast of the u.s! i have never seen another turboed one. They arent considered fast or beaters i think there just considered rare......only hyundai owners recognize the signifagance of SCOUPE ownership! lol

Back when i lived in Puerto Rico I had a Teal 95 LS Turbo. In my Hometown there where at least 20+ Scoupe and more than half where turbo models. i have seen here 3-4 and one is a turbo 93-94 red with black roof(the 95 had same color roof) and it's owned by a Puerto Rican and he brought it from PR. If i could find one i would buy it in a heartbeat.
