Me my first car was a '92 Paseo, I thought Toyota was the best out there, but turned out this car was a piece of shit never started in the winter, it was automatic and when in park it would rev by itself...
Traded in the '92 Paseo for a Toyota Celica 2000 GT, that was quite some car, I loved it, I adore that car, never had problemes with it at all, but when I split up with my X/G/F, she kept it.
Then I had no money so got a Mazda 626 CRONOS with 240K KM on it, and was running like a charm, even better than the Pase wich had only 150K KM on. Mazda is the shit!
Then sold CRONOS because I had found this nice RD2 Tiburon at a Local dealership. Fell in love with it, it was comparable to the celica, but half the price, and looks as nice. I was sceptic about hyundai because my dad had Pony before and was worse piece of shit ever, a lemon. But since I owned it, nothing went wrong, thing runs nice as hell, the warranty is AMAZING, hyundai dealership where I go are more than happy and nice with me, nicer than those Toyota guys... Now i thought i wanted Celica GT-S as next care, or Acura RSX Type S, but f*** this, I'm gonna get another Tiburon, the Tuscani one. I'm sold to Hyundai

my first car was a 94 pontiac grand am (still have it too. anyone wanna' buy it? brand new engine! 500 bucks hah)
man i drove the shit outta' that car - hence the new engine. i've gotta' say though, the thing put up with my abuse quite nicely. bought it in california, and drove it up here. one thing i miss about it was how sturdy and strong it was. heavy ass doors, hood..... really had that american steel feeling to it.
doesn't even compare to my tiburon though. that hyundai is so fun to drive. i like everything about it a lot more. i'm glad i got it - and i'll have it for a long time.

Yeah it was either people loved them or hated them. Personally, i've not had one break down yet. Ever.
Yeah, but that doesn't mean anything. Lately people (even you) have said that Fords are crap. I've owned 5 of them (2 Mustangs, 2 Escorts and an Explorer) and I never had one problem with any of them. Actually, the only car I have ever had problems with is my Tiburon, but I think the dealerships lack of knowledge made it bigger than it should have been.
In order of aquistition:
80 something "Dodge Aries K"
73 Chevy Impala (Big car that was fun as hell to drive)
82 Chevy Impala (former police vehicle, black & white, cars always seemed to move out of my way on the freeways :-)
87 Honda Prelude (POS)
80 something Suzuki Samarui
84 Nissan 300ZX Aniversary edition (Still have, but don't drive. Can't seem to bring myself to sell it)
01 Tiburon (This is what caused me to stop driving the 300Zx.)

well the fords I got were free, so any random bursting into flames or brake failures were repaired by me (as I was 15 when I got the escort) so yeh I can't complain, but I can see why others do.
1982 toyota tercel, 4 speed, 4 door, not the AWD wagon. bought it for $300 cdn, painted batman symbols on the taillights, painted it black from top to bottom, even the rims, shaved the emblems off, shaved the door handles, got rid of all the rust and dents, tinted the windows, and put 2 12-inch alpine type-r's and my 15 type-r in there, with my type-r 6x9's and my old sh!tty deck. it was []D[][]V[][]D

I've never had one... at all.
AllBlack - Why not just wait for the new 'vettes?
I've had two cars.
1994 Nissan Sentra XE
2001 Hyundai Tiburon
I want a Pony.
