X-games
he lives really close to me, about 30 minutes away in annapolis. i remember the first time i heard about him he sent in an "audition" picture of him jumping over his house. rediculous. makes me wish i still rode.
i never had the money to actually bring it up to competition level. it was just me and some buddies in the neighborhood that rode around when we were younger. we had a little track with some jumps across from my house in a open lot. farmers came and demolished it though and planted corn, then a house was thrown in there.
i started on an OLD yz60, then got a 95ish xr100. my dad had an xr250, but it doesnt see much use anymore. i ride it everyonce and a while, there is just nowhere to ride anymore. woods were fun, but all the paths have grown over.

trail riding is fun. a lot of fun.
but racing motocross is much better. laugh.gif
where are u at? i'm actually selling my bike at the end of this season for around $1800 and getting a new one at the start of the season next year. right now, i have a yamaha yz125 (two-stroke), bored out to 134cc, pro circuit pipe and muffler, pro-taper fat bars, new triple clamp, 51 tooth rear sprocket and a did gold chain. she is FAST.
i love how fast you go on the motocross track. taking jumps and corners 30-40mph. this is probably the hardest sport i have ever tried, period. but also really really dangerous. lol

where in annapolis? because we used to have waterfront property in gambrills. probably doesn't live there anymore though, maybe his family. just proves you got to go out and do things instead of sit at home...

heres footage to all who missed it: Tiburon @ X-Games
the x-games rally this year was tame compared to the WRC but then again it has to be because some of those cars are not fully sponsored meaning you have to drive with caution and the tracks are pre-determined. i wonder what it's going to be like next year.
