She obviously had mental issues. Just makes you wonder how she was able to get a pistol permit, with her state of mind. blink.gif

OMFG...

She didn't have a pistol permit and she would never pass the mandatory NICS background check for mental stability.

It's illegal to possess a firearm when you're mentally unstable but oddly enough there is no system to check people's fitness to possess a firearm while renting at a shooting range. That's sort of an odd situation I suppose, but this is the first time I've heard of something like this happening.

If you're firing your own weapon, you could do it at home.

that shooting range is in the West Edmonton Mall in alberta canada. you just show up, pay money and shoot what ever gun you paid to shoot. there are armed marshles, but a few people still try to shoot themselves every year. i went in there once, it was fun but i felt a little uneasy. it would have been WAY to easy to just turn around and start shooting. not that i would, but you get the point. untrained crazy people with guns=bad idea!

Yeah, I never personally liked the idea of shooting ranges. I've only been to one once when passing my hunter's safety course.
