People who were not in the Gulf Coast reason have no one to relay information to them but the media. I was there in FWB when Katrina hit. I know for a fact that WE the federal government were there as soon as there was visibility for the choppers to fly in. The fact that they did not evacuate was their own fault. They chose not to evacuate. Trust me in the seven years I lived there we evacuated four times and only one hit us with any significant force and that was Ivan.
