I prefer certain genre's on certain systems. Try playing strategy on that xbox. It sucks. If your into hardcore racing sim games it's all about the pc. (I'm NOT talking about crap like the ricer need for speed games) and I still don't like fps on console.Typically if you a casual gamer like me the price comparision doesn't work. I have pcs for work, etc. so there is no extra cost and there are so many free games. Xbox is 40-50 a pop for games plus an additional xbox live sub. Not to mention the initial cost of the machine.

In general if I'm gaming by myself I'm on the pc, in a group it's on a console. Consoles are definently the best if you have a bunch of people over but I still use my n64 for that, people LOVE Mario cart!

in general the only thing that has temped me to get an xbox is guitar hero for parties. But thats about the only time I'd play it.

 

Strategy? Like Command and Conquer? I love that on the 360, actually plays VERY well.

As for FPS, I love it. I love realism, and unfortunately, keboard/mouse combos are TOO accurate, I was in the service, remember? LOL Besides, widescreen 42 inch TV, 1080P, and surround sound, are just easier to do in the living room. LOL

Besides, XBOX Live takes the cake.

I've not played command and conquer I have played warcraft on the playstation. It was a joke.

I think the real test is which one your using right now. What can be more important than the machine that brings you rd everyday!

I easily type over 100wpm.

Keyboard + Mouse = unlimited shortcuts and numerous keystroke advantages.

Giong from PC gaming to Console gaming would be comparable to the learning curve of me going from Windows PC to a Mac for everything I do. I would love to, but I don't want to take the time to master something new.
