Alright... i've got my new computer and I wanna play games. It's been YEARS; I used to be among the best in Tribes, playing the Shifter X mod with Guardians of Darkness and Syndicate, part of the HomeLAN Alliance.

I also played Battlefield 1942, America's Army, Delta Force (years ago!)...

anyways, not that i have a desktop again.... who plays online games? I'm trying to decide what path to take and what to get myself into.

I haven't played a PC game in a while now online, last I played was Battlefield 2. It's been about a year now, but that was a ton of fun for a long time.

 

Well, I'm casually playing Guild Wars. It doesn't take up years of your life like WOW can.

 

I gotten out of FPS. I play WoW. If you start playing that let me know.

 

Counter-Strike Source (I usually don't play online, the people are way too good, but I do LAN games on occasion)
America's Army (haven't played in a while, but it was terrific)
Starcraft Brood War (I play this one in spurts, all online though)
Half-Life series (not a multiplayer online game, but you need the interwebz)

 

Have played for a long time, just dont have much time now at the moment, but when I play it's one of the following:
Need For Speed Most Wanted (Mostly with some friends)
Unreal Tournament 2004
Call Of Duty UO
Battlefield Vietnam
Lineage II
Supreme Commander

 

In my late elementary and high school days I used to play UT and CS professionally. I made pretty good money for just playing pc games. My whole pc was sponsored by different companies, and I got to travel to Europe and down south for the big LAN tournaments. It was fun but now I can barely make time to get on xbl lol

 

for computer games i usually stick to RTS games, my xbox is reserved for FPS
its mainly star craft though with an occasional age of empires

 

Need for Speed Most Wanted and Carbon are very good for the computer.

Medal of Honor:Airborne is my online FPS game of choice. Halo being the 2nd.

I used to play delta force in college. That was some fun time on the LAN.

have a WOW acccount barely ever on though
And Runescape
But mostly broodwar it would be cool to play with some people from here on there.
