It's hard to say what I will be driving in 2 years after I get rid of my 00 Tib. It depends on my situation. I just graduated and, with the economy in the toilet, I am still searching for my software engineering job. So if I am making some big bucks in 2 years, I would love to own something real nice like the 350Z, RX8, or WRX STi. However, I might be getting married soon, so if I consider my wife, (gulp, maybe even kids), then I won't spend as much and would like to get something like a Sonata.

I hope 5 yrs from now there will still be a Hyundai group to come share ideas and friendship with. My car will be paid off and hopefully will be a trailer queen show car by then.

The hyundai owners sites have changed a lot in the last 5 yrs, starting back with James F's T-H-C.com and from the ashes of him selling out to the man , has grown a great group of sites to bring us all together.

It seems there is a growing trend for model specific sites with ElantraGT only, ElantraXD only and Tibbie only sites, I hope we can still keep some sort of Hyundai family together.

I'm on my 4th Hyundai product and I don't see that changing anytime soon, so in 5 yrs I'm pretty sure I'll still be lurking about reading every post and coming out of the shadows every now and then to post. wink

I remember the Fxtreme days. And when TeamSR first came out i didnt wanna go their boards but when Fxtreme went down i had no choice. Hell i remember getting on MPS i think its called i forget and thinkin that was the only hyundai board. Then found my way to fxtreme. But who knows about a couple years from now. i know personally i will not still have my tiburon. Either this year or the next i will be getting a WRX or go to the luxery type car or SUV. Who knows where every one else will be at

I think the Hyundai scene will continue to grow. Some of the middle aged members like myself who joined FXtreme after it had been around after a while will probably hang around for a while, esp those of us who are moderators. I know I'm prolly gonna be stuck with the accent for another 4-5 years (when i graduate from college), so y'all hafta put up with me for a while.

More aftermarket companies will embrace the 03+ Hyundai's thanks to the new Tib. Smaller companies like SR and KORE will stay around, and hopefully get better support from their suppliers as their sales grow. Maybe even become the next DC Sports or Mugen or Nismo. Unfortunately, I also see prices rising.

Do you mean MHP Tuning's forum? That was kind of a real basic and ghetto message forum that they had. Too bad they don't really care about Hyundai's too much anymore. *lol* tongue.gif

This site's been down for awhile. Don't think they are concentrating on ANYTHING now.
