if all else fails you can walk into a comp USA.... they charge like 100 bucks to put the comp togather and you can pick out all the parts right there.

Seriously, DIY. If you can mess with your car, you can build a computer. I used to do the same thing as Fonseca. Putting together a system takes literally about 15 minutes from start to finish. Loading software and drivers is the big b!tch. But if you have difficulty with a piece you can get support from the manuf. or online. I can gaurantee if you buy quality parts you will be much happier and your system will last longer than if you buy from somewhere else. Not to mention the pride factor of buildiung your own pc. It's like the feeling you get when you install your first C.A.I.

too bad you're not in my area ... I work for Canada Computers

http://www.canadacomputers.com

my store has the lowest prices on almost all parts in the whole province.

i could've built a custom one for you + 5% cash discount and $0 labour for assembly.

but then again, shipping would ruin the whole deal.

best advice, get the parts and build it yourself. it's not hard at all.

Thanks guys, Ive read all the replys, and I will take all your advice into thought.

thing is, I know I could build one myself, i know its not that difficult, but I dont know enought about the compatibility of so many parts, like the FSB speed, of the board, does it have to match the FSB of the CPU? what about the RAM, whats good RAM, Corsair ?? and the vidoe cards, I thought a 6600LE weas made by nVidia, unti li went to there website and couldnt find a 6600LE, so my freind tells me, oh yea, thats cuz some company bought a 6600 chip and put it in there own card, and made it an LE, so how do I know which company to go with when buying a video card ?

what I might do is spend the extra right now to have one built for me, then learn a little in the next year, adn rebuild this one, like my buddy said, get just one 7800 card, and in 2 months, get another instead of buying 2 6600 cards off the bat.

and I hear what you mean about going for 2 gigs, but i probably wont use the comp to severly for a while so not having that extra gig wont hurt for too long.

thanks again for your help, and ill hit a few of you up via IM

peace !!
