My dad gave me a watch that his dad (my grandfather) gave to him, which his dad (my great gradfather) gave to him. It'll stay in the family for generations to come. Do any of you have any really old things that have been passed down or maybe just something thats really old you picked up somewhere?

I'm waiting for a family heirloom to be passed down to me. It is a brass monk. When you turn it around it resembles a penis.

A chain my dad bought right before he came to this country
(1970) and a teddy bear that was given to me by my grandpa the day I was born

That bear is my most prized item I own
It's been in fires, rides in my car, goes everywhere with me

A really old 12 gauge shotgun, my grandpa found it when he was like 10 (1942ish) then he gave it to my dad and in turn gave it to me... I don't know how old it is exactly or if its even worth anything. I'll get pics up.

hm... I have a bed (frame, headboard/footboard) that was my great great grandmothers. I also have a quilt that my great grandmother made and her rocking chair from when she was young. Not really sure I have much else, my family's from California and a lot of old stuff has been broken in earthquakes.

I believe my grandfather has some old German steins that are probably early 1900s.

I have some stuff, but most of it was inherited when my mother passed away and unfortunately we don't know whose items they were originally anymore. I know a lot of it is a few generations before my mother, but I don't know the stories or whose they were.
