Had this conversation last night at with some friends at a bonfire, over some beers. Just wondering what the scenario would be like if the U.S. didn't enter WWII. I have a few thoughts:

- Nazi regime would be in full force across Europe
- Cold War would have been against Germany
- Technology wouldn't have advanced as much as it does today (no internet, cell phones or GPS )
- Japan would've had the market cornered in electronics
- Gender roles still in effect.
- Band of Brothers wouldn't have existed

What do you think our world would look like?

Nope. The Allies would have won eventually. May have taken a short while longer, but Hitler was an egomaniac who was surrounded with people who were plotting against him. The Nazi regime would have collapsed in on itself.

Russia would have owned more of Europe and Japan would own massive amount of mainland asia, that is the extent of the change IMO.

Read Fatherland if you're really into this kind of stuff. I think it takes place in like the 80s with the Nazis still in control of europe.
