well a new law passed in ontario, they have the right to seize and crush modified cars if they beleive you modded your car to street race. and they will crush it before you can appeal the case. so much for innocent untill proven guilty, i think ralph nader moved to canada to f*** us car guys over. but its not gonna stop me, im still doing. and do they not know how many business will go out of buiseness and how many lifes will be ruined.

OK honestly, im pissed. this guy is an idiot. Hes saying if you put an intake on your car in your driveway, hes going to crush it because you may race. So stupid. Ya, people die in car crashes dues to speed. In all car accidents, speed is an issue. If they were going 3mph noone would get hurt. But without seeing someone race and just thinking they might becasue they want a nicer, faster car is just pure bs.

this all came after an accident caused by 2 middle eastern kids were racing there cavalier and pontiac grand am on the highway 401 and caused a huge accident killing a couple of people.

 

Same type of stuff here in Nova Scotia since they passed the new laws in january,expecially the inspections,and the insurance is incredible...No engine mods AT ALL or no insurance!!..If its modded ,it has to be Frame inspected by a specialist and insured under the dangerous drivers act with the drunks,and convicts,and the car is only insured for $5000.MAx unless its apphrased! Really coming down hard this year!!

They will only seize it and crush it if you are caught street racing. They can't just take your car and crush it because your neighbor calls the cops and says your installing a exhaust to street race. Do you know how many law suites they would have?

 

Can anyone say LAWSUIT? That is what Governments in Canada will be saying if they really think they can just take somone's car and crush it because they put an aftermarket intake on. That kinda stuff would NEVER fly in the United States. The ACLU would have a field day with it.
