So here's the scoop from the rainforest.

Several times in the past cupla months I've found my car speckled with tiny sticky droplets. sad.gif It takes soap to get em off. It's not from the trees nor the seagulls.

I've been thinking it is some kind of air pollution for awhile, something we haven't see here before. Yesterday I got a demonstration. rolleyes.gif

My clean car was covered with the speckles, like it had been in a shower. Driving along the highway, totally clear skies, I watched the stuff build up on the windshield.

Is this happening anywhere else? Anyone know what it is? Where's it come from? I don't even want to think about the health aspects of breathing it in.

 

Pollen?

I've seen some types pine pollen in particular float in the air for long ways. Under the trees it gets really heavy, but can carry a long ways. That would be kind of sticky. Tree pollen is cyclical too, some years are heavier than others.

 

It's from all the pot you B.C. guys smoke... j/k!

That doesn't sound too nice... not when you can watch it accumulate on your car as you drive.
I hope it is just pollen and not some kinda pollution. eek!

 

Sounds like death from above to me.. Nobody leave your house.. It's the terrorist.. LOL... I'm sorry.. I like blaming things on Terrorist.. but I'm pretty sure it's just sticky pollen.. I mean this is the best time of the year to get Maple syrup too... Do you guys have maple trees? J/k

I do think it's some kinda pollution, maybe from Seattle tongue.gif

or more likely from that incredibly huge cloud that was hanging out over Asia a few weeks ago. it's too widespread to be pollen or pine droppings
