USA vs. The World, Who would win?

Depends... If we would have to outrule nukes, because then MAD would occur, and we would lose...but so would everyone else....
The US couldn't take over the world in an offensive, stretched WAY too thin.
Though from a defensive standpoint, no, no one could ever conquer the US. First of all we have air superiority, which is key. Pretty much have sea superiority and we could easily beef up the shorline defense. The land would be the only way, but again it wouldn't be too difficult to beef up security and emplace land mines ect. We would basically need to move our combat arms to the border as we wouldn't need any through the center of the country, as with no air inserts, they could never get into the country really. Not to mention our heavily armed civilians.
Though through spies and insider threat, I do think it could be done quit easily. Look at comunist insider inplanted thread placed named Obama. Just promise our people money, no hard work involved, convinience, and security and they practically let you do whatever you want. You don't need to fight against the death star or the star destroyers, just fly down a simple little trench barley protected and fire some torpedoes into the center and boom.
Though you can almost say the same for any super power.

We couldn't conquer the entire world.
We would fare better than most places, our missile defense technology is far better than almost anyone knows. Our ICBM arsenal is larger than claimed. If we were halfway smart we wouldn't even get close to any other country other than to surface with a sub. We could deal a harsher blow to the world as a whole than would be dealt to us, although it would suck to be anyone at that point anyways.
