I know, and I have witnessed the kidness and careness for other people by the members on this site, and frankly my best friends brother needs help. I am asking for EVERYONE's help here. One of my best friend was diagnosed with Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia
(AML) in September, 2005. His name is Uzo Azuh, he is 23 years old. A long story short, he went into remission and recently found out that it had returned. His own brother and sister do not match him for a bone marrow transplant, you have a higher chance of getting a match from someone in your own ethnic group. There are only 1000 people in the Canadian bone marrow registry with his backround and none match...out of 10 million people on the U.S. registry there are NO matches. His family is sending bone marrow kits to Nigeria where he is from but they cost 210$ per kit. I don't care if you don't want to donate even one dollar but at least go and get the test and get on the registry to help not only him but other people...We are all lucky and have no reason at all to not at least get on the registry.

Also, on Aug.5th in Detroit there is a donor clinic happening...15 minutes they swab your mouth or prick your finger and your done...i am going if anyone wants to come with just let me know...

I know how all of us here care for eachother well beings and saftey. Over the years I have been here I've witnessed mircles happen. We are a family. I'm asking for help for someone that doesn't not have much more time to live if he cannot find a donar.

 

I donated $5 because i dont have that much money right now; but I know every little bit helps.

Anytime I see the word "cancer" I instantly donate. Its a terrible thing, and if I can do anything to let the person with it suffer less or just help them in any way I will.
