Anyone here have an underground bunker?
In a normal house with no underground vault, what would be the ideal location for a safe?

we don't but we have a huge basement. i'd say concealed in some boards in the wall under the staircase. i also discovered that the ceiling wall is a great place. especially if you have those squares.

I'm building a safe soon. I'm going to remodel a room to do it.
Best place for a safe? Probably anywhere that you won't trip on it and that lets you bolt it down around the floor joists and prevents someone from cutting all the way around it with a saw. For extra security you can anchor it to a new concrete slug in the crawlspace.
