Thought I Would Pop In
hi guys!
Been a little over a year since I was here last and I thought I would stop by and see who was still around, who was gone, and see who was still being an arse.
Things are quiet here.. too quiet. The economy is hurting me bad and I am tired of this enforced vacation I have been on since the beginning of Decemeber. Least I have been getting some work done to my cars when the weather is nice.
updates:
Fiat. Up on the rotisserie (finally) and getting ready to cut and weld the rear for the BME inpendant rear suspension. Taking my time (understatement of the century) and getting it all right.
BMW. Passenger side floor rotted from undisclosed accident damage. I got a junked shell and cut the floor and rear suspension out of it. Welding it in next week and hopefully getting her repainted. 130,000+ miles and as reliable as gravity.
Saab. Took all summer to fix the bodywork, paint, and replace the transmission. A decent car, but it defines torque steer in the dictionary. Still needs a lot of it's previously deferred maintance done.
Home life is quiet.. just me and my bird now that I am single again. Not much to report there, just got screwed over AGAIN (I should just give up) and I am licking my wounds and wondering if it is worth going back out.

Wow, didn't realize your member number was so low! Glad you came back around. We even have a GB going on right now and no one is in it. The economy is def killing a lot of the sporting car industry...
Glad to hear you still at least have the bird!
Glad to hear you still at least have the bird!
I will see what I can do. In a week or so I should have some pictures of me welding a new floor into my BMW... damn people taking short cuts in repairing accident damage. A coat of paint could have prevented all this.
