How does it feel to have your conservative views overruled by common sense?
I've lived 2 years of my life through communism. Let me tell you, waiting months for an appointment for 4 hours in front of a door with 20 people in front of you for a minute's worth of mediocre service is not thrilling. That's excluding the lack of sanitary conditions and state of the art equipment. It's not going to be very pleasant, I can assure that from experience.
Common sense says we have limited resources for upholding SO many people at once. Hospitals will be overcrowded, doctors will be sleepless, upset, working around the clock, making life-threatening mistakes, nurses will be attending patients instead of doctors, computers will replace both, and who will pay for the surplus of medical devices (prosthetics), surgical tools and respiratory devices, and expensive medicines?
...oh wait, we will? Where have I seen this before?

^And you clearly don't know who this man is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lech_Wa%C5%82%C4%99sa
What makes you think that? I live in Washington D.C., I assure you that I might actually know what goes on here.
All democrats do is tax, tax, tax... The reason I disagree with them is because nobody is earning more $, surely no more than 20-30,40 years ago. I would understand liberal ideology if the capitalist system didn't operate on such a bare minimum. Democracy and PPACA would surely work in a society thriving with natural, and human resources but this just isn't the case on this planet.
Then you forget about abuse of the system. I assure you that at something like 50% of handicap parking spaces are not really filled with handicap people.

its the beginning of the end of america. Next it'll be the Second Bill of Rights that FDR tried passing. Once they get away with this all the other sheep in the herd of America will do whatever they want like little puppets.

Australia here. Casually enjoying my free healthcare and lack of bread lines on the street. First world healthcare isn't the end of society as we know it.
They introduced the insurance levy here a couple of years ago, it's BS. But the money has to come from somewhere.

I didn't know that Australia had free healthcare! The only issue I have with that comparison is that it cannot compare to the amounts of slums and poverty that exist in the U.S. I'm not saying the poor don't deserve access to good healthcare, but the middle-class (if there are any left) don't deserve mediocre care either.
The front page of CNN doesn't either. http://www.cnn.com/2012/06/29/health...html?hpt=hp_c1

Like I said... You clearly don't understand the law. The is not government healthcare. This is not "Medicare for all". This is not going to put the government in control of healthcare. This is not going to increase the number of people seeking medical care. This is not going to lead to lines to be seen at "the government clinic".
I live in Las Vegas... I don't know sh*t about gambling.
