it's official. Slipknot's 3rd major label cd hit stores today. oh man. i strongly suggest picking this up. If you were never a fan of slipknot before, this album may help that problem in your life tongue.gif. the band has matured...and what i mean by that is by playing the instruments better and writing more meaningful lyrics.
go pick up the cd. $10 at Circuit City. you won't be disappointed

you'll notice corey taylor bringing in a lot of his Stone Sour-type lyrics into this band....

but they do scream...it wouldn't be slipknot without it

 

well.... thats not really going to sell me on buying it... Stone Sour was a good group... but Slipknot is a little too much on the screaming of uncomprehensible verses....

 

i have all their cd's, self titled was the best in my opinion....meh ill just download it.... y'know it being LEGAL to download music in canada and all.

 

ah... too much screaming and crap for my ears... i like to be able to hear what they are sayin... at least Korn you can tell what they are trying to tell you

 

Obviously if you actually pay attention to SLIPKNOT's verses, I can tell what Corey is saying..

i'm a bigger fan of death/black metal. but seeing slipknot in concert is an experience that i think everyone should go through.

the new cd is "different" in terms of slipknot material. its more like Stone Sour
