okay, slipknot? they f*cking scare me! they like the guy with the chainsaw in Texas Chainsaw Massacre. creepyness...

whatever happened to stone sour? all i heard was the song from the spiderman soundtrack and then nothing...

 

the rest of stone sour's CD isn't like bother at all, and i guess the suits at Roadrunner either didn't wanna release another single, or the ppl at MTV didn't like the sound of the rest of the album. that cd is VERY heavy.

stone sour will be back after Corey Taylor finishes his summer touring stint w/ Slipknot

 

yeah they are creepy lookin.... ill take Linkin Park over ANY band ANY day of the week... that band still hasnt produced a song that is less than great

oh, i didn't know the leader of slipknot was in stone sour. so many of these bands are pieces of other ones i can't keep up!!

 

Corey taylor and one of the guitarists are in stone sour, stone sour has been around a little bit before slipknot, then slipknot came to be and Corey decided that is what he wanted to do.

After Iowa ( which i have heard one time) Corey and the guitar platyer (forget his name) decided that Stone Sour needed to make a record, and it was just a way for Corey to express himself in another light.

The new CD is like what Abbey Road is to the beattles..this is what Corey said.

Corey also was very pissed after a lot of things after the Iowa tour and he needed a break and the band (a lot of the members) had side projects, and they all got caught w/o their masks lol.gif (that was a sacred thing) Then Corey got pissed about all the break up rumors etc..and posted Slipknot was through etc...well obviously they are not and I think they will be around for a bit.

Murderdolls is another band that came about from slipknot. Joey Jordison, the drummer of slipknot, is the lead singer of Murderdolls. They're sorta like Alice Cooper. its good stuff

Alright so I went and got the CD like two days ago... This one is about as close to garbage as Slipknot can get to!! I dont like the John Denver sounding songs (i.e. track #11) . Ive been a big fan of Slipknot since the underground and this is just no good... Im extremely saddened by this CD...

Sorry that you feel that way about the CD, I guess that not all bands can stay the same, they have to grow and change, and mature.

Look at a lot of bands, they never will sound the same as when they first came out.

I think Slipknot will be alright.
