Well, the ABQ BBQ's go with the Balloon Fiesta. That is always in October. I can't change that, it's when the weather is right for it.

We had the ONE spring one, with the international auto show, and that went great too.

Even during school, or during the semester breaks (which is when I had the spring one), folks can and have taken time off to make it to meets.

I know Texas is big, I've been there and done that.

As for meets during the summer? Why would we have a meet when everyone is having the huge car shows and stuff during that time? Not to mention it's a bit friggin warm out here in the summer.

You are having your meet in the middle of my semester. Right in it. How's that for planning?

LOL

That's why its labeled TEXAS Meet and not National meet. It's only for the day. And it's in the center of the state. ANYONE can take 1 day off for it, so don't compare it to your 3 day extravaganza 4 states away.

And I don't understand why you keep comparing my life to everyone else. Like I said, if you were actually in Architecture and working 40 hours, then you'd understand. I DO NOT have the time to leave, period. You keep asking, and I keep telling you this. You keep telling me to take time off, but sorry, I'm paying thousands for my school and like having above a 3.5GPA. I'm not gonna miss class for any car meet.

Uhm, you might wanna schedule a US Geography class next semester, we are neighboring states.

LOL

I get what you are saying though.

It's allright to keep harassing you about it, sooner or later...

Maybe one day when I visit my GF's parents in El Paso, we'll drive another 400 miles north.

It's not THAT far, but I tell you what.

Next time you guys go down there, we can meet up down in Socorro or something, go to the VLA out there and get some pics in front of the huge dish.

You gonna want this RDTiburon.com banner?

Right now I'm not sure how many RD's will be there. At least 2-3, but could have as many as 6.
