His vision?

He needs his vision checked. You earn an award for something you do, not for what you MAY do. I know he admitted it, but he should have refused the award.

 

i don't think anybody would refuse the nobel peace prize after the long journey of hardships, doubts (think of all the struggles of having people, prof's, rival candidates doubting him, media making fun of him, the entire world all countries included & terrorists trying to put him down, wouldn't he want to show them who he is?), making it to hardest job in the world (all those sleepless most stressful nights of uncertainty enough to drive a human being crazy finally paying off), and becoming a walking piece of history. he likely accepted it for those reasons alone, and as a father parenting two young daughters wanted to show them anything is possible and what better example to show what's to come.

think of what it represents. world peace. if he would have rejected it, it would do more damage than not to accept it. it would show Putin, Ahmadinejad, and Castro all the other world leaders that America isn't good enough.

my stance for what it's worth.

 

no he did not deserve it but how can you say the world has gone to hell because people in power want to put that power to good? (if you disagree that Obama is doing things for the better, I'll never be able to change your mind.)

people get awards they don't deserve all the time, the whole world is full of BS like this, but I guess enough people were thrilled with it.
