Soft Top Cleaner/conditioner

what do you guys use on your soft tops? my gf has a rousch mustang w/ a softop, and it sits in the sun all day. what's the best stuff to use to clean and protect it? thanks.

sorry. I've always used a mild soap and water with a sponge. Seems to work fine. Do you have stains? Sun fade?

no, no fading or stains. the car's a 2002, and i just want to keep the top in the best condition for the longest time, ya know? aren't there conditioners or something to help protect it from the sun? i'll give the soap and water a try to keep it clean, though.

What kind of fabric is it? Turtle wax makes a nice carpet cleaner, not sure how that would work. Could aslo try scotch guard, they make all sorts of material protection stuff.
