So sad Last week there was a shooting at an Oregon mall. Now this. Its horrible!

 

so f*cked up.. at a f*cking ELEMENTARY school..

 

20 children and 6 adults confirmed dead as of now. Horrible!

 

I'm in Hartford and I can tell you that the entire state is in shock. It's been a very exhausting day knowing, reading, and watching what has happened. There's alot of anger in the state and there's a lot of people screaming for gun control. I don't know what to think but this whole occurance has put me in a haze.

 

it makes people who legally own guns look bad..always upsets me seeing a individual with virtually no morals.



I was at work so i don't know the full details..any idea what triggered it?

It doesn't make people who own guns look bad unless you are an idiot. Does it make people who own knives look bad when somebody cuts their wrists? Does it make cars look bad when an octogenarian drives into a crowd of people?



It's the person, not the tool. It makes this crazy guy look bad who killed his mother and her class, plus a few other people, then was a chickenshit and killed himself too. No, it doesn't make him look anything, it shows he WAS bad.

 

My prayers go out to the familys. No parent should ever have to bury a child! People like this should burn in hell! Why can't crazy people just off themselves and not take the lives of others? Don't get me started on gun control. I +1 everything stocker said. But there is a time to talk discussed that but now is the time to morn the death of little kids.

 

Straight up sucks! This is a 20 minute ride from my house in the same type of small everyone knows everyone type of town. Just horrible.

 

20+ people dead and people still want to "defend" their right to have/own guns



This was a horrible tragedy that should have never happened. When are people going to realize that if you have tougher gun laws these types of things are a lot less likely to happen. Yes it was the crazy person who used the gun, but why/how did he have such easy access to these/this gun? There are threads on this site about guns, and what type of gun you own, do you open carry or conceal? It's INSANE! To someone looking from the outside in, you guys (Americans) seem like total gun nuts. IMO Guns are for Policeman and hunting, nothing else. I have no desire/reason to own/carry/or fire a gun.



My condolences to any/all the families affected by this senseless tragedy.
