The highest body count so far came from outside of the US in a country with pretty tight gun control laws. The biggest losses of life from someone who wanted to kill innocents came from using pretty normal items and turning them into weapons. The sh*t bomber in Oklahoma and the use of air planes taken over with knives and used as missiles. I wish the entire world was like Canada and didn't have as many crazy basturds, but we can't all live there. If we did, the nuts would be there as well. There have been more than a few situations stopped by weapons, but that doesn't make for a good news story.



If you don't want one, then don't carry one. Easy..



So far my personal ownership of a gun has gotten me out of an attempted robbery/whoknowswhatelse... and the guns themselves have yet to run off and kill a bunch of school kids. Weird. Luckily I have them in a speed safe when they are not on me. That must be why they have not gone on any killing sprees.

We should totally ban guns in the US, that way no one will ever have access to them again. Just like heroin.

Also, we'll be a better nation when all of the US manufactures have to can tens of thousands of jobs due to excessive loss of demands.

Where did I say I wanted to see guns banned? Guns have a use, but I honestly see no reason for your average citizen to own one (besides hunting). We need stricter laws and legislation. Guns are just too easy to to get a hold of or purchase in some states. The school shooter used a semi-automatic weapon to shoot these KIDS. WTF does anyone need a semi-automatic weapon for? Please, someone tell me? If this kid's parents would have decided they didn't want guns in their house, do you think this tragedy would have happened? Would this kid have had access to guns?

furthermore.....the guns were obtained from his mother. All legally registered in her name. Sucks she had to die by her own weapon, but she had the proper permits to own handguns. Why does this part of it have to come into play in every thread about it out there. Guns don't kill people, PEOPLE kill people. May be a stupid sticker, but damnit, it's true.
