No big deal. Took my Elantra to get the yearly inspection. Everything goes proper, except the mechanic states this will be the last year the car is on the road due to severe rust in the rear subframe area in front of the right rear tire. I know there recall for some newer models that were in the snowbelt states, but would it be worth my time to take it to the dealer and have them look at it?

 

Only recall I heard of was for the Sonata, which develops a rust hole that would allow the front lower control arms to fall off, somewhat impeding proper steering.
