I used to own a 1998 Hyundai Accent and the Champion spark plugs were OEM. They've been OEM since the 1985 Hyundai Excel. then I guess they switched to NGK.

I said in the first post that they were already in the motor when I bought it. I didn't plan on doing a tune up for a few more days.

as long as you didn't put it in. still i don't even know who the hell would use champions? maybe the guy that had the motor before wasn't that bright.

They COME with the car, and the car (Elantra) only had 22k miles. There's no reason for any non-tuner to change them at that time.
