Thanks Guys!! It really is great to have such an awesome support group. Yes she was young she was 52.

 

I have been working on this poem for the last couple of days. Let me know what you guys think....

We sit right down and now reflect.
On times gone by and reconnect.
Some memories make laugh and smile,
Others make us cry awhile.

We watched you laugh, we watched you cry,
We knew someday we'd have to say goodbye.
You taught us how to be a friend.
You showed us strength until the end.

You didn't know it, but you gave others hope.
Through comforting arms we will cope.
Your incredible fight for life, made us proud,
We have told your story many times aloud.

We love you now, we loved you then,
This will not be the end.
We know one day we will see you again,
We will get to hug you, our friend.

Forever in our hearts you'll be,
You are gone but not forgotten you will see.
So watch over us and guide us and show us the way,
So that we can be a happy family again someday.
