there is a mash up of this site and a site called Last.FM. What you can do is use the pandora player, but have the songs you listen to uploaded to last.fm and build your music database. Last can then tell you what you listen to the most and also recommend new artists. the url to the mash up is

note: you use both a last.fm and pandora login for the site.
