Yea, I posted that same opinion over there. They'll probably attack me for it, but damn, that was a stupid thing to do. But everyone makes mistakes and I hope his insurance helps him out.

... I mean come on... if anything like that was wrong with my car, I would've pulled over, called someone for a ride and then called that Hyundai Tow Service thingey and had them fix it under warranty. Looks like he only had an intake... no automatic warranty voiders like supercharger or turbocharger.

A coworker of mine had her truck catch on fire as well just recently..she ended up getting a better SUV from the insurance claim. Hopefully the same thing will happen with him and he will be able to get a brand new car.
