...i'm not really sure why the car would do that, i mean no airbag sensors went off etc, and if the engine was overheating to the point of emergency (i dont think onstar even registers that stuff, might be wrong..) don't u think they driver would've noticed?

Lots of crashes don't activate air bags. The G-sensor thought there was a minor accident.

there was a video floating around of a guy autocrossing his car and onstar disabled it cuz they thought he was driving drunk
