Onstar calls while at the track...is there an emergency?

...i'm not really sure why the car would do that, i mean no airbag sensors went off etc, and if the engine was overheating to the point of emergency (i dont think onstar even registers that stuff, might be wrong..) don't u think they driver would've noticed?
