LMAO. They didn't start making Cl65 until 2005, which means that he has: Horsepower 604 @ 5500 RPM Torque 738 @ 2000 RPM and no tib here in states will be able to beat him...
Hell, evel CL 55, the 2004 model, has Horsepower 493 @ 6100 RPM Torque 590 @ 1800 RPM, which I highly doubt you can beat as well... maybe if you built a drag monster, but daily driven tib will not be able to touch those cars.

well i meant cl55 2004 12.7 1/4 mile.. the cl65 2005 11.8... if in fact it is the cl65 i wont have a chance in hell, nor do i want to build my tib to be that extreme.. but if its the cl55 and runs a 12.7 sec 1/4 mile then i could have a chance.. at first he told me it was a cl55 with 4?? hp and then i did a search and the cl65 came up and hes like i think its that one.. lol.. so im not really sure which one he has..

01, build up your tib to be a beast, then just race him. who cares what he has, if he's got the cl65, maybe he's a shitty driver? if not and he does smoke you, he'll at least be impressed with how you kept up in the 4cyl tib

First of all, if I had a CL, I would'nt be racing it..lol You know, you got nothing to loose in my opinion, you get a chance to gauge your car against a very formidable car. There's no shame in loosing to car like that. Just hope you do it on a closed course. wink1.gif
