Old former cars you wished you could own again

442 with the quad 4... stick shift? I wanted one but got the LeBaron instead.
basically the same thing, different badging. that was the international series. quad 4, 5 spd.
I never understood why GM mounted the electronic control module right on top of the damn motor cause when you had to buy one (like i did, four times) it says right on the box in bold letters...."mounting in area with excessive heat will cause the ECM to burn out.

187sks, I feel your pain. I had an '87 Caprice with 350, did a bunch of work to it and blew the doors of the civic fanboys when I was in HS. If I had half the knowledge then that I have now it would still exist sad.gif
Parted it out to buy the 944, love the 944 but miss the ruble of a V8.
My '07 Accent. That was a great daily driver and my Hyundai gateway drug. smile.gif
Some fatass cow in a mid-80's Cadillac pull out in front of me on a rainy day and that was the end of her sad.gif My first new car purchase, a fun drive (we'd go on weekend rides for not better reason) and regularly got 45-50 mpg. I cried, and I am not ashamed to admit it.
My wife's '94 Sunbird. It was a ragged POS but it was her first car and she loved it
Not sure exactly what happened but the windshield froze completely over while I was driving to work one morning, I tried to pull off the road but went too far and went down an icy embankment into a tree. To this day I feel like a douche. sad.gif
For his 18th birthday my folks and I pooled our money and bought my brother an 86 FC3S. I taught him to drive a stick and even helped him rebuild the engine. Secretly I was working a 20b as well.
He ragged it out, hit 2 deer, completely ripped off the door at one point (left it open at a gas station), and fell asleep behind the wheel doing 70..... That FC was killer and I wanted it in my garage if he didn't give a **** >:|
