Old former cars you wished you could own again
Does anyone wish they could have an old former car they used to own, again? Either the car died or it got into an accident or something that caused us all to have to get rid of a car we once loved. For me, it was my first car, a white 1990 dodge daytona shelby. Looked identical to this one

An old lady in a big ass buick wasnt paying attention and ran a red light through a shopping plaza and t-boned me. fire1.gif The car was totaled and I had to say goodbye to it forever. If I could ever get the chance to own another one just like it, I would do it in a heart beat. sad.gif

Miss my old Mazda B2200 minitruck I had. Finished it, and sold it to a kid with a new license. Should have never done it because I see the truck on occasion driving around now and its beat to hell. Makes my heart sink every time I see it. bawl.gif

The first I purchased, a 78 Blazer 4x4.
It was a flat blue before flats were cool. It had a heavily worked 327 from a 67 Corvette making 475hp.
It was geared so high that it wouldn't spin the tires unless I power braked it or put it in 2lo (a transfer case modified to allow 2lo is pretty fun). I blew 2 rear differentials in that thing, one literally shot the spider gears out of the rear of the housing.
I got rid of it because it had several oil leaks that were becoming an issue and I was 17 with no idea how to replace a rear main seal. If I only knew how much I would miss it.

My first car was an '81 Volvo 244DL 4-door. Loved that car but it leaked oil and I didn't keep up w/ it as much as i should have. I traded it in when the engine started knocking. I miss that car, it was a damn tank!

It was a piece of sh*t that needed a lot of work but I loved it, and she treated me well. I'd trade any and all of thr cars I own now for one again. Had to sell, I put it up on craigslist to see what kind of interest there was and was offered more than I paid, so I had to bite..
