My whole family and I decided to stop with the usual "useless" gift giving, and buy Christmas for a family who really needs it. The Salvation Army does an adopt a family for Christmas program that we have proudly taken on this year. All we're doing for each other is having dinner together being happy that another family gets to enjoy themselves when they otherwise wouldn't have had the chance.

Right? They have a 13 year old son that they were about to tell he couldn't have Christmas this year because they needed the money to stay afloat! Dad lost his job in the beginning of the whole insurance downfall last December. Both parents have been picking up part time work wherever they can to keep the house from forclosure. I almost wish I could help more, but Christmas seemed to be a huge relief on mom and dads shoulders (as far as the kids are concerned), so i'm thankful we could at least give them that!

 

I asked for a tattoo in memory of my dad - my brothers getting it for me
Also wanted and new security system/remote start for the Tib - Mom already let me pick it out and she bought it
Thats pretty much the 2 main things I wanted and then money to buy other things for the Tib

 

Prismacolor so I can finally pick up drawing cars again.
