Wow, other than my car payment I think thats all im in the whole and thats only another 5k or so left if not less. But I have been paying that off 210$ at a time. So between bills(cellphone, rent, utilities, and internet)and paychecks I still have enough money to put into the tib.

guys, you can do it. I was roughly 10 g's in debt 7 years ago from a nasty divorce. it took a year working as a truck driver driving a average of 2000 miles a week and living off of PBJ and fruit but i did it.

what is nice if you can do it is figure out how you can take your monthly bills and pay on them weekly. it doesn't hurt the pocket book as much. got that started last july and life is sooooo easy.

Phew....I thought I was the only one that was backing off from the car to straighten out finances...and my life in general.

I'm about $9K in the red, 3.5 of it being the car, the rest is credit cards, personal loan from a rough patch when I needed quick cash. Luckily I still live in my parents basement, and work full time so I can focus more on getting out of debt now. I finally have the car where I want it to be...for now...

Theres still a few things I'll be doing, but only when time and money permits it, and its stuff I can do on my own now that I've kinda got the hang of FGing.

I feel your pain..

I have a bunch of stuff in my room, that I can't afford to install...

Getting out of debt is more important.

I'm going to sell the supercharger to a better owner and use my car as the daily/florida driver like I have been using it.

[vulture] Any ideas how much you want for it, and when you might be selling it? [/vulture]

I have something like 8k in debt, but I'm in my 4th year of college, so that's actually pretty remarkable. 3k for the tib and 5k for college is not bad at all when the average starting salary for an IS grad is 50k/year.
