I was stuck out there. The thing that does suck is that I have had the alternator off myself about 5 times and that I did have to pay someone else to do it. But like I said, I was stuck with no help out there.
lol, I could've bought 3 cheap batteries and run on just those to get me home, then bought the alternator, and spent far less than $450. wink.gif Or I couldv'e just pulled into a few pepboys or whatever on the way and had them charge the same battery for free until I made it home. lol
For reference, I drove 40 minutes without an alternator using the Optima Redtop. It didn't die, so who knows how much longer it would've gone.
The rednecks here call mine a Taliban too. :roll:

I orginally come from a small bush town, the place is very westy (redneck) and when I go back home I usually end up getting compliments from most people who see it, though most don't know what it is.

ok so no one answered my question, "has anyone every heard our car called Integra fighter"? and the one thing that pisses me off the most is when someone asks what car i have i tell them "a tiburon" thier immedit response is "oh the new one, cause those are hot" then i tell them no the older one, the first year it was out "the better one" but they dont care!
