I call mine a cheap ass piece of korean shit all the time, most recently when it left me stranded in buffalo today and I had to shell out $450 to get a new alternator installed at some random garage just so I could make it back to rochester after spending the weekend with my girl. But her and her friends all love it, so it's all good.

 

man i just got screwed over by an alternator too.
got it towed back to my garage with roadside assistance from my cell phone - free
took the alternator off and had it rebuilt for $75, and installed it same day.
from the time i took it off to the time i put it back on was less than 1 day.
why would you pay someone to do something that simple..especially when if you don't know what you're doing you can come to a site like this (or webtech) and figure it out.
i feel really bad for you that you spent $450 on an alternator, but it's partially your own stupidity not the "korean piece of shit"
