i see the logic, but they seriously need to fire whoever designed those new cars.....u can add space and STILL make them look good.
well if you look at nearly any car with plans starting a few years back it seems like they all start out pretty wild and then tame down a bit before release... laugh.gif

If that's going to be the output from the factory I can only imagine what some aftermarket parts and fine tuning can do
lol, i think that will have already been done to start with.

very, very true. i don't even know why. did anybody see the Santa Fe concept? man, that thing looked ferocious. when the Santa Fe came out, they chopped out the fender walls (notice that's why you see the fender slicing).
well, at least they didn't do that to our Gen 1's...
the WRX looks okay. but i don't see how that under-light is going to help with rallying. obviously it's there just for appeal. eh, it's alright. nothing new. the EVO X looks like some sauce though.

actually, you are going to start seeing smooth and sleek cars like our tibs disappear soon from the roads. The new emphasis on safety is pedestrian safety. .
i know they make bug deflectors.. why not just make people deflectors smile.gif

What I was referring to was that it obviously will be turbo'd from the factory, and at that output the stock internals will be designed to handle the load, along with the tranny, axles, etc. Needless to say factory settings tend to be on the mild side for safety/warranty issues. Just imagine what a BIGGER turbo and intercooler and intake/BBTB, higher boost, etc, could do.... Not to mention this thread was originally started with the dream in mind that we may be able to use this co-developed Mitsu/Hyundai motor as a swap for our betas.

that is soooo true! however if i could get an evo, i think i would still go with one. i wonder if the evo x will be better than the evo xi,the best one in my opinion.

The Evo X will most likely be 4wd.....making it hard to swap into a FWD tib.
I say just go with the new Hyundai that comes out. By 2007 my tib will probably have blown up (I've put almost 10,000 miles on it since I got it less than 4 months ago).....i know.
But, I'll watch her burn, cry.......then go buy a new Hyundai Tiburon. Are they keeping the name Tiburon for the 2007 model. they better, or I'll have to kick some arse
