Need Some Good Ideas, School Assignment.
i did a tech paper on electric cars, it was really intresting topic. there is pleanty of resources and good examples like the telsa roadster. plus it still has to do with cars and for me thats what made me really get into the subject.

you might have to research a lot on this, but superconductors?
telsa roadster sounds neat! and yeah DTN that's the answer i was expecting, crater face! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif
you could write about that new thing in fast lane daily, where the cars paint changes color with a press of a button (polarization or something).

why the new FREE distros of linux will one day give windows a run for its money. companies area already shipping low-cost PCs with linux pre-installed, and i personally think its awesome. i've only messed around with them, but man are they awesome.

LOL DTN haha.gif
It's not a joke. That was an honest question. The 8086 - 486SX are pretty much all the same processor. THey are just faster processors built on the single step design. Once you get past 8086 it becomes alot more difficult to analyze because of the ammount of data I/O which they can handle. 486DX/Pentium class and higher start doing more then one operation on a single CLK pulse. I studdied the 8086. It's pretty cool how they work. It's all about timing.before anyone else gets their laugh on about it, ask yourself this, 'would I be able to modify binary data stored in a Bx register with nothing but toggle switches and a push button?'.
I'm pretty sure anyone who has, or knows how, would not want to do it again or attempt it without a higher level of programming language like at least ASM.
CODE
exch $words
mov $towards;violence
push $haters;out the door
pop $bubble

You could do it on artificial intelligence. I have a professor thats really into it and always talks about it.
DTN. It is nice to know how the processors work but coding anything is assembly just plan sucks, most of the time makes no logical sense at all

I was told Wal-Mart had a $200 (or $299) tower with a mouse, keyboard, linux, 80gb hd, google apps, but no monitor. Almost hard not to buy something so cheap.
You could also discuss the pros and cons of a potential OS-Free computing (something being explored by Google and Adobe) and the potential downfall of Microsoft (unless they decide to go head-to-head with Google). Adobe is releasing an online based Photoshop soon, and Google Apps are already web based.

...
Object oriented languages are assembled with an assembler, and translated into assembly code. That's how computers work. lol. So really, it's the only thing that DOES make logical sense..
DTN, it's an instruction language called LC2K7, it is very similar to MIPS.
By the way, DTN, I'm pretty sure that all the people who said "LOL DTN^^" were referring to your comment about "exhaust gases," not the 8086 processor. Newb. LOL.

^^ I thought people were commenting on the fact that it is still worth while to study a 8086 processor. Not too many people realize that 8086 technology is so simple that you can actually hook up an 8086 to do alot of electronics chores. It just takes one of them, a clock and a few registers to make a machine. They're still in use. Most people just think they're out dated.
I'd hope they were LOLing about the DEI exhaust thread reference. But even still, there's alot of uncovered ground there as well.
