yah ive been caught 3 times and still do it, and i got in a huge fight with my parents and they told me to stop or get out so i left for a month or 2, all i got was i had to go to some "constructive classes", i know a lot of people say they love the murals and stuff but they hate the quick white and black ones and tags that people do. then i try to tell them that you cant have one and not the other, those kids running around doing those black and white ones taggin things are learning can controll, and once they get that they can start getting better at murals.

and ive had some permission walls, where the city still made the owner of that wall paint over it, even when i was saught out by a comic book shop here and some freinds and i did a huge mural on the side of there building and it said superheros and had batman, punisher, spawn, and all these different characters, took us about 5 days to complete, i went back another day with a high resolution camera to take pics and it was getting painted over in grey primer, it was so sad, the mural was so colourfull and i put my life into it, i quit my job cuz they wouldnt give me time off to do it, and all this colourfull artwork and all my hard work was getting covered by a dreary grey colour, actually braught a tear to my eye.

and about applying my art to my tib, i was thinking of doing graffiti all over the tib, not sure tho, the body isnt that big so i dont have much room to work with.

 

^^ sounds like you live on the edge constantly. I'm not a fan of spraypaint on the side of a building.

 

thats cool not a lot of people do, but is some parts of cities graffiti can really liven up that area and have a positive effect, in many slums in germany, once every season they allow graffiti artist to redo the neighbor hood, and in some cases and entire side of a 9 story apartment building

i think this should be reopened. it appears that he has gotten permission from the building owners to do his work. it's illegal to a certain extent. it's freedom of expression.

He was using his moderator abilities where they should have been used. We are strict on illegal activity being posted on this forum. It was stated within the last week and reasons have been given. We have moderators and admins who are involved with military and police and we would like to keep this site as far away from any illegal activity as possible.

This thread may remain open, as long as further posts include only permission granted graffiti. We'll keep an eye on it.
