Might have to say goodbye to my Tib... 8^(
Yeah, like I said earlier, hide the car for a few days if you have to. I'd spare $20 toward a fund for ya. If we could get about 25 people on the forum here to do the same it could save your car.

thanks goodness I'm good.. but...... All my bills are paid every month etc...... but yet, i own 2 t-shirts, 1 pair of jeans, smelly sneakers and I eat rice and a glass of water everyday.
Yeah, I can probably do about that as well. I don't have money flowing out the ears or anything, but $25 to help somebody keep their ENTIRE car is very little compared to what I have. I don't know about the rest of you, but I have just about everything I could ask for. So I'll stay home two more times instead of eating out and being a fat bastard. Big deal.
On another note, I wouldn't just park it in my garage. They won't give a crap about treaspassing. Move the car as far as you can get away with it and get it inside. Then lock it up tongue.gif
*** EDIT ***
Okay, maybe we need a food donation as well tongue.gif

LOL, my room mate and I were talking. We both agreed if you can't find anywhere to park it... Take all the wheels off of it and put it on jacks, bring the wheels inside and you're good to go... LOL.... That'd be a b****. I'd still take it a block or two away tongue.gif
About a year ago (or maybe 8-9 months), my parents were really far behind on payments so whoever (I don't know who repos cars) threatened to take ALL 4 of our cars away. Yeah uh, they tried to take my Tib when the title, insurance, and registration are ALL in my name. At the time, I was working 2 jobs and taking online college courses. Some guy in a suit showed up at my door around 2pm on a Thursday telling me to sign a bunch of papers so they can repo the cars. I told him to go "f" himself, simply because 1. I was NOT the owner of 3 of the cars or the household and 2. I HAVE NO BUSINESS IN THIS WHATSOEVER. He actually sat there hassling me telling me I HAD to sign the papers. Why should I? I have no part in that stuff whatsoever. I also told him if he went anywhere near the Tiburon, I would immediately call the cops and have him arrested for fraud (saying that my car is supposed to be repo'd because of all the other cars in the household is absolute fraud). Needless to say, he kept hassling me so I went inside, grabbed the cordless, and called 911 as I was walking back to the door. I calmly explained to the operator that there was a gentleman trying to repo all of the cars that are at my residence (my parent's really) and that he is trying to force me to sign documents I am not responsible for in addition to trying to take away my own car which I am fully responsible for and not my parents. The repo guy quickly changed his mind and said "You know what? We can settle this another time!" and left.
It's been yeah, about 9 months ago that happened and they never came back. My parents fixed all of their financial problems within a matter of 2 months by pretty much spending next to no money for leisure stuff. Just buying the bare necessities and paying off the bills completely.
My advice, Alpha, is to scrounge up what little money you have and offer that to them. Also give them a list of places and phone numbers that you have applied to. I had a friend that went through what you are going to. He parked his car in the garage and locked the garage. He explained to whatever company that repo's the cars that he applied at so many places and also gave them a list and the phone numbers. He was given about 4 more weeks to get a job, and he did. They of course increased his monthly payments until he could pay off what he owed, but they didn't take his car.
Good luck.

Good advice Toxic, Lane...what's the situation with that cardomain job. You sounded really excited about that a while back, is that interview you were talking about with them? I hope you get a job there just because you'll get the hook up on parts...
Thanks for showing up at Frys, I KNOW you'll be at the next one man,
Yeah, I got everything taken care of now.
I actually got the entire amount paid, so I'm good to go.
I wanna' thank you all for your input though, and especially the willingness to donate money for a friend in need. I can't even tell you how much I appreciate that.
You guys kick ass. 8^)
