id be interested in maybe the wing, intake,etc. if you got some cool stuff. I dont have to worry about this. i got my car for 550$ repoed laugh.gif the moron didnt pay for it so i got it..... needed a tranny but that was about 450$ so about 1000$ for a nice little car, ive been attracted to it ever since my dad bought it about 4 years ago :-D

 

Alpha you have a 2000 tib right? I dunno if the wing will fit on a 1997 tib..it probably will with modifications...Alpha i could paypal you money for the wing today (hopfully before I go to bed)...maybe that could help you....if 97'Tib cannot get it from you right away. What color is it and will it fit 97Tib's car?

There's no Pizza Delivery jobs? usually, if you call up the financing company and calmly explain everything, they'll understand and help you out. Especially if you just got a job.

GO GET A DELIVERY JOB. You'd make some mad cash, quickly.

Actually Alpha, having been through this a couple of years ago, I may have some good news for you. When it comes to the repo companies the LAST thing they want to do is take the car. In almost all cases, as with mine, when the repo person comes the first time they should have/can get a form/contract that states if you can make one payment they will allow you to keep the car and will backlog the other two payments to the end of the loan. From my understanding this can happen twice durring a loan. In fact, it may even be the law for them to do this. And like REDZ said, get a pizza delivery job if you have to. I was laid off from my job making $18/hour and when my unemployment ran out I went to a temp service to work in a craphole foundry for $7/hour. Quit that after 3 months and got a job delivering pizzas making more money than that, cruzing in my car all day.

 

You're telling me you couldn't get a job anywhere? For 3 months??

 

yeah man! and i'm talkin' about some serious effort! my resume is far from crap too, i'm tellin' ya'.

and i go out every single day.... restaraunts, auto shops, paint shops, offices, all that. i stopped being picky after 2 weeks.

and another thing that may come into play here - is that my financing bank is in california.. and i'm in seattle, obviously. i don't know if that will matter or not. probably not, and i know they do things local too.

and as far as them being flexibile goes, they've been really cool about it. they were even going to defer this months payment if i could have got the last two, but alas...... i couldn't come up with the cash. i havn't been hiding from them or anything like that either...

i got denied unemployment, my tax return was ALL messed up (just donated my pontiac for absolutely nothing!), and i thought for SURE i'd have a job by now. things are tough up here. there's about 15 resumes right behind mine every time.

i DID have a fantastic interview yesterday, that is almost a guarantee... so that should help. plus i'll tell them it's all modified, and put it in the garage for a bit. buy some time.....

i seriously appreciate all of your guys' input though. thanks a lot to all of you. i'll let you all know what's up later.

doesnt help you right now but about 3 months ago i woulda started ebaying stuff...i think i would have sold my laptop before letting them repo my car..its my baby...
