Lets Discuss our Fears.

*lol* No seriously...I cant think of a single thing that I'm afraid of. I've gone bungee jumping, skydiving, cliff diving, and so on. Heights are no problem for me. Deep water is no issue either because I'm a very good swimmer (as 217sonatta talked about), not afraid of the dark, fires, animals, being small spaces, etc...
I'm sure theres probably something out there, but for the most part....I'm fearless.

how about the thought of being buried alive, or dying alone
my GREATEST fear is turning out like my dad
no family and alone because of my actions
the tower video would only bother me when the thought of free climbing had to come into play. i've rode the cap on a water tank to 150 ft. and that didnt bother me but when i had to get to areas free climbing without a static line it took forever to get the job done.
give me a static line and i have no problems.
swimming is not a problem for me as long as i don't feel a nibble on my toes, lol.

A person who says they have no fears usually just avoids things which sound scary. For instance, Visionz, would you jump off a 30 foot bridge like I used to do every summer?
Or how about if I take you to a place in Montana, called "Heaven".. It's a series of cliffs. The bottom one is called "Hell" and it's about a 5 foot jump. "Heaven" is about 70 feet high. The top one, it's called the "Running 40". It's about 80 feet up in the air and you have to clear 40 feet before you hit the ground, or else. Only the pros do it.
Everyone is afraid of something. If you're not then you're retarded. In fact, demonstrate that you're not afraid of a school bus driving 70 mph on the highway. Or, show me how not afraid you are of electricity and water. You're not too chicken to do an illegal base jump are you?
Fear is the human survival instinct. You don't 'know' that something is harmless so you are scared of it. Even Chuck Norris gets scared once in a while, or should I say scared gets Chuck Norrised?

I think that's taking it a bit further than the thread's intention. I read the initial post of fears as if they were "phobias" ... I mean, I would be afraid if I were tied to a railroad track with a train coming towards me... but I wouldn't say that's a "fear" I have. I would be afraid of jumping xx feet out from a cliff and xx feet down if there are elevated risks of death. I would be afraid to scale that tower to Heaven, but I don't have a fear of heights by any means.
I don't think visionz' comment that he doesn't have any fears was not meant to say that he wouldn't be scared in certain situations.

Lets have a Fear thread, ill start. Name the fear, the reason behind it and if it gives you any debilitating symptoms i.e. legs shaking sweaty hands etc.

Mr AT05GT is also afraid of...Stephen Hawking. Seriously. I use to freak him out with that one all the time.
I am afraid of heights, but only if it's man-made (bridges, buildings, etc.)
bees
spiders
I'm sure there is more, but that's all I can think of.
