knives
I have a Kershaw. I cant remember the model but it is basically a legal switch blade. It is spring loaded but you dont push a button to open it. On the back on the knife the rear of the blade has a ledge that you push. Because you are pushing on the blade and not a button it is legal.

I have alot of knives that are illegal then.
When I was in the military I had a bunch also. Got stopped my the MP's down at Camp Pendelton and they confiscated them out of my trunk.
Damn C.G. Checkpoints
Down here we call them a Flick knife, and they are illegal. In fact it is illegal to carry a knife at all no matter what size unless you need it in your job 02.gif

The S.P's here don't care about knives unless it looks like you're trying to hide them. I've gotten stopped several times and had a knife with a 6" lockblade and they looked at it and gave it back. I was always told if you're military you can carry something that size. I could be wrong though, too.
BTW Pyro that looks bad@$$.

All over Queens maybe. Most hunting knives are larger than 4" and they sell them at Wal-Mart.

I take that back, closed it is 5 1/2" and open it is 10" w/ a blade length of about 5" and it is a Gerber Applegate/Fairbairn Combat.
