It's gotten to be that way. Not that we're happy about it. Nothing will change until the population is cold and starving. All channels for making a correction will have been closed by that point.

Anywho, if they slapped me with a Contempt of Court charge, I'd be like [deleted] yes I hold the court in contempt! and then there'd be another Contempt charge on top of the first one.
