WaWa is great Toxic. Dont know what I would do without them smile.gif . I am going to school also didnt even think about that. Working 40+ hours as a Network Engineer (Stressful as hell) and going to college. I am taking 3 classes each semister. I also do computer jobs on the side. Make some damn good money on the side but with the full time job, school, and the side jobs I have little time for anything else 02.gif

Yeah, I love the store... but I hate working for them. I just need money, so whatever works.

And I'm in college full time with 5 classes. Over here, full time is 12+ credits.. and currently I have 16 for this semester. I was going for web support, which was web design and networking, but I gave it up. It got boring. Now I'm trying to get into a veterinary technician school.

I wish I could make good money like you. There is just really no jobs available that will hire without experience. Everyone wants you to have a degree or experience, so I'm SOL. Even if I have experience, they want it in writing from another job. :\

tool and die trade is awesome. i love working on mills and lathes. took it all thru high school and a lil in college. .0005" is crazy tolerance.. i had a job in tool and die for a couple weeks, absolutely loved it, but it was pretty stressful, but im more of a desk and a computer guy.

0.020" is easy.. especially with a good grade mill... what you guys running over there?

Yeah 0.020" is easy, but at the same time we are leaving + 0.020" for finish grinding.
So when I was in the Grinding dept. I would get pissed when the milling dept. leaves more than
20 thou', sucks ass when you have to "side wheel grind" more than 0.010",... tends to heat up the steel way too much if your not careful, and can shrink about 1 thou under your finish size.
When i'm milling Cams, and Forms, I try to be within a couple thou,(still keeping the 0.020" tolerance) even though I am able to be very acurate
on our mills. They all have Digital read-outs of course wink1.gif

We use "first" mills, "bridgeport" mills, and we even have a "ProStar" mill that is so tall I swear it was made for Shaq O'Neal! lol

Yep same here, full time but with only 13 credits. Enough for me though.

As for me, I'm a fitness technician at a small women's fitness club. Pay is eh but it keeps me going for now. I don't do anything there either, so who am I to complain. Plus I don't work that much at all which means I have more time for school. For the summer I'll be working as a temp in offices etc. to make extra money.

For a year I worked at a local grocery store and moved up the ranks pretty fast. Started out bagging (1 month), then I moved to stocker (4 months), then I started helping out in floral and produce (2 month) and now I'm night crew which sucks schedule0wise but makes some kick-ass money. Been working 6pm - 3am or 11pm -8am for the past 5 months. And after 10pm it's an extra .50 for every hour worked. But now I'm re-fueling planes at a small airport and working the desk at a flight school. It's a real small airport (not even a tower) but it's really fun and is always a great experience every day. I even hang out after work and meet old weirdo's with 200,000 dollar 4 seater planes that are going to Oregon or California for a quick stop and they're like "wanna go?" Hell yeah I do, free ride and experience too. It's funny talking with co-workers that own planes. They're like:

"so what are you doing after work?"

Me: I have no plans, probably go eat

"wanna go to lunch?"

Me: sure

"where do you wanna go?........portland? Everett? Ellensburg? Seattle? Bellingham?

And I'm sitting here bugged eyed expecting something like "Subway or Thai Food down the street" but no it's like wanna go cross state real fast?

It's awesome, I love it....except for the no medical benifts whatsoever.
